"A necklace made me this anorexic freak?!" You shout to Bee, now sitting next to her on the living room couch. She pays your words no mind, simply staring off around the room. "How is that even possible? Someone's going to hear about this."
You turn the necklace over and over again in one hand, while you rub your sickly thin frame with the other, pondering what to do next. Just then you hear the doorbell ringing. Why does someone have to show up at a time like this?!? You ignored it, pretending not to be home. You then heard a loud banging on the door, and the familiar voice of someone you met minutes ago.
"Open up! It's Cassandra! Let me in!" she screamed. She clearly knew you were home. You walked up to the door, not daring to open it. You rest your head against the door to answer her.
"Now's not a good time." you replied. "I'm starting to feel a bit...ill." That was an understatment. You looked like you were going to pass out any minute. But you couldn't let Cassandra see you like this.
"Whatever, just don't put on that necklace." So it was the necklace, but how did Cassandra know anything about it. "It'll..it has....I don't know! Just don't put it on and let me in!"
"Why shouldn't I try it on?" you asked. You now obviously knew the reason why you shouldn't have tried it on. But you still whated to know why Cassandra knew anything about it.
"Just let me in and I'll explain. Those items, must have had some magic or technology or something in them!" she cried out. "I was just going home and I tried the ring on. Nothing happened until this animal ran up towards me and started sniffing the ring. I thought it was weird, but I knelt down to pet it. The animal sniffed it more until it touched it with it's nose and I've been changing ever since." You could hear sniffing as if she was crying. "I didn't know who else to turn to and I didn't want to be stuck out here looking like a freak. Please, just let me in."
You unlocked the door and began to open it. You knew she wouldn't make fun of you now, considering she going through something similar. Maybe you could figure it out together, or at least go back to the mall to figure it out. You opened the door and were both shocked at what you saw. She could clearly tell you tried on the necklace, given your anorexic shape now. You could tell what exactly the ring she bought could do. As you saw that.....
