This choice: Applejack stops putting off talking to Twilight and makes a late night visit! • Go Back...Chapter #11Twilight, tell me you can fix this. by: Gee   "Alright ya'll, ah bes be heading out of here before I cause any more damage." Applejack said with relief in her voice. "You can say that again Missy." Granny stated staring at the newly reshaped door frame. "Golly, I guess ah should lay off the pie." AJ said embarrassingly as she turn to observe the frame witch was now double arched at the top now, almost as if someone rammed a comically over-sized peach threw, while the bottom was widened out. "This will take quite a bit of work." GS said bluntly "Eeyupp." Big Mac added. "We could leave it as a reminder and just build a new door." Apple Bloom said with a smirk "Naw I'll fix it Granny, sorry." AJ said genuinely sounding very remorseful. "It's alright Applejack, I know you didn't mean to. Besides if I had stopped yammering at ye you could have exited sooner!" GS replied understandingly. AJ thought to herself for a moment, I was already on my way out though? "Yeah it be better if you headed out sis so you can fix whatever THIS is." AB chimed in reasonably. "Yeah OK, I'll see ya'll later then." AJ responded lovingly before bidding her family adieu.
And so everyone's favorite extra large southern farmhand heads out in search for answers and hopefully a remedy. AJ arrives at the threshold of Twilight's castle a lot quicker but also with far to many nosy ponies goggling at her enlarged form. With fearful anticipation she laid a mighty knock upon the large entrance. After a moment she turned to begin her trek back not wanting to disturb her good friend so late, figuring that Twilight had to hear that because even she thought it was a little much. However before she could make a full stride the caste entryway creaked open. "Hello." came a groggy male voice. "Oh hey ya Spike, how you doing. Sorry to intrude so late, has Twilight already turned in for the night?" AJ said nervously turning to face the dragon. "Applejack,... is that you or am I still dreaming?" Spike stated sleepily bewildered at the sight before him rubbing his eyes. "Yeah, it is. Sorry there was no real way to break you in softly unfortunately with all of this." AJ said plainly while gesturing to her body. "Jeez Applejack your BIG! Well hey, come get inside before you cause more of a commotion." Spike replied frankly "Spike is everything alright, who was it at this hou...... r" Came another puzzled voice as an Alicorn rounded the corner from atop the stairs. "Heya Twilight, how are you this evening." AJ responded coyly.
As Twilight descended the staircase she found herself astonished by Applejack's relative size, she was dwarfed by her even though she was still only halfway down the staircase! "Applejack! What happened to you?" Twilight said in a concerning tone. "Oh this, I just thought I would try something new." Applejack replied jokingly "Out with it already Applejack I know it isn't in your nature to be silly." Twilight said stating the facts and getting to the point. AJ drops the charade and explains the whole situation as well as all the facts she knows up to this point. "So I was hopin you help." AJ finished the story up with a plea. "So you ate a strange apple?" Twilight asked plying detective trying to put all the pieces together. "Yeah, that had to do it. So what do ya think Twilight do we got a shot." AJ asked tentatively. "Well I think we could possibly work this out, I just don't know if we meed to enchant something edible or if I can cast a spell directly. Alright Applejack follow me let's go to the library and let me see what I can find. "Sounds good Twilight, thank you." AJ said appreciatively as she followed Twilight into her study.
"Hmmm, these hexes just won't do." Twilight spoke definitively threw a mighty stack of books. "Is everythin alright Twilight?" AJ asked with trepidation in her voice. "It's fine, don't worry Applejack. I CAN fix this, I just want to be absolutely sure these spells won't hurt you since I already ruled out enchantments for this case." Twilight responded calmly confident in her abilities. "Oh alright, then." AJ replied sounding relieved. As time was passing Applejack felt her body changing once more. Her perspective shifted as she receded and bloomed out everything including Twilight seemingly shrank as her height rose, her eyes seeing much more as they settled on there new height. "Ah, Twilight not to rush ya or nuttin but I'm still getting bigger!" AJ stated in a slight panic. "Oh I see, so you are!" Twilight replied trying to keep her composure in the presence of her now 17 foot friend. "Just a moment Applejack I do believe I've found a suitable spell." Twilight stated sternly "That's great Twilight!" AJ excitedly standing to her full height much to Twilight's surprise. "I suppose I don't even need to ask if your ready then now do I?" Twilight stated as she took her position in front of the extremely large mare. "No siree." AJ said ready and willing as she braced herself. "Alright here goes nothing" Twilight said full of determination as her horn began glowing while taking aim. The Princess of friendship finally released the magic within her horn in a brilliant burst of light bound toward Applejack.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
