Cosmic misfortune

The Grid™️ was like a fortress, boasting no errors and standing strong against any trouble. It stored data in satellites circling the Earth, with lots of backups and safety measures. But then, something unlikely happened. Two tiny cosmic radiation particles from space hit two satellites and changed a couple of bits of information. Suddenly, "01001101" became "01000110," and because two copies agreed, the change spread everywhere.

So, one day, you woke up to find an 'F' where there should have been an 'M' in your files.
