...a familiar figure appeared. It was Timmy's older brother Chuck. "Oh my God! "Timmy, what's happened to you? "How can your body just walk off and leave your head on the ground?"
"I don't know Chuck." Timmy responded. "Could you stop it from running off and then maybe call an ambulance or something. "Maybe they can sew my head back on."
"Sure thing Timmy. "As long as you're talking, I guess you're still okay." And with that Chuck grabbed ahold of Timmy's body and Timmy breathed (how?) a sigh of relief.
But the nightmare wasn't over yet. Timmy's body reached up and grabbed for Chuck's head. "Chuck, look out don't let it..." But it was too late. Chuck's head came off as easily as Timmy's own. "Oh no," Timmy groaned "Is my body going to take off everybody's head it runs into?"
But then a strange thing happened. Instead of plopping the head on the ground, Timmy's body placed Chuck's head onto his shoulders. Just as weird, Chuck's headless body went over to Timmy's head and picked it off the ground. Seconds later Timmy's head was placed on the shoulders of Chuck's twelve year old body. As horrified as he was, he was at least a little relieved that he could feel hands and feet again. He also had complete control of his newly acquired body. He looked at his brother who seemed to be coming out of a daze. "Chuck, are you all right?"
"Of course I am dork. "Why wouldn't I be?" He said to Timmy's astonishment.
"But... "But we've just switched bodies. Don't you remember?" Timmy asked.
"Are you crazy? "Switching bodies is impossible! "Besides why would we switch bodies and keep our own clothes? "If you're going to make up stories at least make it something that makes sense." And Chuck spun on his (Timmy's) heels heading either home or, to the mall to either play some games at the arcade or to check out some toys at the toy store, or both.
Timmy, totally stunned by the latest twist to his bizarre adventure could only follow in his own body's footsteps. Chuck might not believe it but any grown ups who knew them would know instantly what was wrong. Not least the old man Timmy saw earlier. Timmy felt a tiny bit optimistic. "It's not that bad. "I'm bigger now and could take care of those bullies myself. "Chuck doesn't even care that he's got my body, so what's the diff?" And with that Timmy perked up a little as he followed his now shorter brother. Little did he know, his problems were just getting started.
