When Ralph got to home room, he got a note telling him that he had to have an examination with the school nurse.
Ralph walked down to the nurse’s office. They did the basic eye examine and height check. When they did the weight check, something was weird. The numbers didn’t stop going up.
Nurse “That’s weird. It looks like the scale is broken. I’ll have to you comeback another day when I get it fixed.”
Ralph did his goodbyes and went to class. It was actually pool, so that’s what he got ready for. He changed in the locker room, and put some swim trunks on. He kept his necklace on though. He didn’t want to risk losing it.
When he got out to the pool, the other students were already doing their thing. Everyone stopped and stared at his body. The boys were envious, and the girls thought he was the cutest boy in school. When he stepped into the water, he sank straight down. Almost like a rock. When he tried to do a light swim, he kept sinking. He had to swim hard to stay afloat, but that wasn’t hard for some reason. Ralph reasoned that he was getting denser. His body was still growing, but it was being compressed, and because of that, his weight increases and so does his strength.
When pool was over, he went through the rest of the day like usual.
