"Hey Hinata, what's up?" Naruto asked as he took in the Hyuga princess. She had come a very long ways since they were kids. Hinata became far more bold and confident after she saved Naruto from Pain. She confessed her love to him, but he didn't really know what to say since he was in love with Sakura at the time. So he didn't say anything and never talked to her about. Now that he thought about it, he never even thanked her for saving him.
He frowned at the thought, but it didn't seem to matter. Hinata came out of that situation stronger and more confident than ever. By the time the war ended she wasn't the shy quiet stuttering girl everyone had come to know. She was a strong, beautiful and confident woman. That's not to say that she still wasn't a little bit shy, because she was. But she radiated with confidence.
"Well I was wondering if I could talk to you for a moment Naruto." Hinata said quietly and then added, "Alone."
"Sure Hinata. My place is only a block away, follow me." As Naruto led the way to his apartment, he wondered what Hinata wanted to talk about alone. The look in her eyes... Naruto just couldn't place it.
"In a matter of minutes the two were standing inside of Naruto's living room."
