"Baa-chan!" Naruto yelled in a panic as he entered Tsunade's office.
"I figured I would be seeing you today Naruto." Tsunade greeted with a sad smile.
"So you know?"
"Yes... Hinata already filed the paperwork with me. You're legally her slave right now. I'm sorry Naruto."
"But...but...how the hell could this be legal?"
"The contract the Hyuga have with Konoha is as old as Konoha itself. I don't really know why my Grandfather allowed them to include that clause, but he did. It's stupid and outdated, and it should be illegal, but unfortunately it's not. And the Hyuga can legally leave the village if we don't abide by the contract, and you know we can't allow that. They are one of Konoha's most powerful clans."
Naruto sighed. It was true, he had been studying up on Konoha more and more as he got older. He wanted to know exactly how everything worked by the time he became Hokage. He knew that the village would be in dire straights if the Hyuga decided to leave, and there were plenty of villages that would welcome the Hyuga with open arms.
