"I have an interesting idea." Gaining inspiration, you said.

"Oh?" Curious, the teacher asked. "What do you have in mind?"

You smiled. "I suggest a that I pass as a foreign exchange student from Europe or something." Calmly, you said. "One of the girls in this class can be my 'sponsor', helping me adapt to American life."

The girls in the class giggled at the idea as the teacher smiled, looking bemused. "How will that teach you behavioral science?" Patiently, she asked.

"By being perceived or assumed to be a shy student from another country, I will be treated as one." Beaming, you said. "I speak three different languages fluently so no issue there."

The teacher smiled. "That is an interesting idea but would you be willing to take it a step further?"

Your smile faltered. "What do you mean?"

Rachel, one of the girls in the class grinned. "Why not try being a girl from another country?" Amused, she suggested. "Make it a challenge."

The boys laughed at that as the girls all tried to convince you to agree.
