A bold move... but can you follow through with it?

You take a deep breath, pick up the shotgun, and jump up with it pointed right at the robber. "Oh hell no you don't!" The masked man exclaims as he points his gun right between your eyes. "Crap..." You think to yourself as you steady your aim and brace yourself to pull the trigger. You let this wacko keep his gun on you and you arn't even sure if yours is loaded. Oh well, no time to back out now. "Look, we can both walk away from this..." You mutter, trying to sound brave and in control. "Just put your gun down... and I'll call the cops. Jail time is better than dying, right?" The man only sneered and presses his gun harder against your forehead. "I just killed my girlfriend and shot 2 cops over on the interstate about 15 minutes ago... wasting some punk who tried to pull a gun on me is nothing compared to what I'll have to face if they catch me." You weaken your grip on the shotgun slightly and try not to look worried, which is useless as you were now visibly sweating. This guy was a stone cold psychopath... and you were in trouble.

You have the following choices:

1. Pull the trigger, maybe you can take him by surprise...

2. Try to reason with him

3. Try to get him to back down
