You gasp as a warm breeze washes over you and your vision slowly begins to return. You shiver as you get up out of the melted puddle of water surrounding you. "Why is it so dark in here?" you groan as you use the thin shafts of light peeking through the walls and ceiling to find the door.
With a soft creak the flimsy door falls over as soon as you try to turn the knob and hits the ground with a thud. You gasp as you take a few steps forward into the light and marvel at the colossal city before you. All around you were towering buildings with futuristic designs and tons of billboards and signs. About the only thing that looked out of date was the ruins of the gas station basement you just climbed out of.
You walk up the steps leading to the parking lot to get a better view and nearly scream in shock. This really was the future...but it wasn't some sci-fi utopia like they envisioned during the fifties. Everything was advanced, but reeked of urban decay and pollution...even the midday sun could barely be seen through the thick cloud of smog pouring from nearby factories.
