You grab hold of the strange explosive with both hands and pull with all your might. To your immense surprise it slowly comes free from the dirt and pops loose with one final good tug. You fall backwards onto your ass as the thing lands in the weeds in front of you with a soft thud. "Well, I got it loose, time to see what this damn thing actually is... hope I don't blow myself up..." you say nervously as you get back on your feet and turn the thing over to get a better look at it in the moonlight.
Three strange crystals fitted to the underside begin glowing upon being turned out of the shadows and radiate a soft humming noise. You cross your fingers and pray that you don't blow yourself up as you point the gems towards the moon and they glow a bit brighter. Now that you had a better look at the device you could see that it was a pale grey with strange symbols plastered on the side next to some sort of compartment. "So far so good I guess." you whisper as you try to figure out what to do next.
