Hinata stood for a minute - indecisive. Then it occurred to her. No matter what she changed about herself, it wouldn't matter of her personality stayed like this. Even if she won Naruto's affection, it would do no good is she lacked the courage to act on it. She needed to be brave, and she could think of no one brave than Naruto.Coming to a decision, she selected the personality section, pointed to Naruto and fired.
Nothing seemed to happen...
"Ah man! What a rip off!" Hinata thought. She didn't notice as her posture straightened, how she no longer had trouble meeting people's eyes. She also she did notice however, when Naruto began to collapse in on himself. He hunched over slightly and pulled his arms to himself, as of he was trying to make himself as small and unassuming as possible. His comments became quite and mumbled, and his eyes dropped from his friends to his feet as a perpetual blush crossed his face.
"Wait, Naruto is shy now," Hinata thought, "so, it worked?"
