After a half hour of preparing the enemy attacked. Rita could see them clearly from the wall they had come in there millions but there was no time to watch as the enemy suddenly fired every catapult to arrow to fire balls at the walls and gates while the ground troops marched slowly with shields raised in a defensive position, towards the gate with battering rams and siege towers. Rita and all the troops raised their shields and prepared for the incoming rocks and arrows. Suddenly Rita heared screames of pain and looked to see 100s of men falling to the ground dead but it seemed the attack had only being directed inside as when she looked out at the 5000 of there soldiers only a few had fallen. Rita heared here father shout "Return fire " and ran to a scorpion and helped load it the archers had already shot at the advancing enemy infantry as they were the only things to shoot because the enemy had told there own archers to go into reserve and now the enemy had 8 battalions od infantry on the mountain waiting out of range. The enemy soldiers fell like rocks in their hundreds but they still out numbered the city guards and most of the enemy rams were destroyed leaving only a few left but only a few siege towers fell as they had to much armour for are arrows and scorpians to penetrate. almost instantly there was more screaming and when Rita looked she saw part of the wall had collapsed in but luckily the hole wasn't big enough to let enemy troops in as it was to high up tho he bad news is that it took 3 scorpions out.
