Like a flash of lightning siege towers deployed on the walls and minotours came charging out screaming thike mad men while the guards raced towards the siege towers that had already delpoyed more and more started to move closer to the walls. The guards on the walls were quickly cut down by the strength and overwhelming numbers of the minotours. The gates started to rattle and when Rita looked over the wall she saw that 2 rams where smashing againest them. The gates wouldn't hold for long and many civillians where still being escorted out of the city to a safe area. While Rita was busy on the walls she didn't notice her father shouting to retreat to the 1st inner wall.Luke had to go save his sister before it was to late.He ran up the steps dodging attacks along the way until he grabbed his sister by the shoulder and told her to fall back. They ran to the inner gates but were to late as the gates had been closed.
Meanwhile in the forest a little girl was running from a group of minotours who seemed to be in a beserker rage state. The girls name was Annabelle she wore a white dress and had brown hair and green eyes and had narrowly escaped the capital city from a secret passage but the group of minotaurs had caught her and weren't going to give up until she lay dead at their feet. It seemed hopeless for Annabelle but then she felt the earth rumble and she fell but instead of expecting to be hacked to pieces with an axe she just heard someone ask"Are you ok".
Back at the city the guards had managed to kill off the minotours in the city but at a great loss of there own men. Rita and luke were about to head to the walls when they heared the guards call out"THEY'VE BREACHED THE GATES".Rita and Luke spun round to see the enemy infantry charge inside the city gates and the guards charge head on to meet them. Rita and Luke both knew that the guards won't be able to hold out for long so they made a plan to explode the arch above the gates and trap the enemy inside the walls were they wold be easy pickings for the archers. They set the barrrels on top of the arch and lit the fuse and moments later watched as the enemy tryed despiratly to escape but were quickly cut down by the guards. When the enemy inside the walls were dead they raced to the top of the walls with the few remaining archers and bared witness to the enemy call in another wave as big as the first one but this time Rita counted three giants that were being controlled by mages who were being whipped to do so. Rita, Luke and Harold gave each other worried glances as they saw the enemy general on the hill give the order to attack but he held the giants with swords back and Rita watched as the enemy troops charged forward at the walls with more rams and siege towers than before.
The few remaining guards in there hundreds readied themselves but before the enemy reached the walls a giant arrow went flying into the side of a siege tower making it fall on to its side killing hundreds, then another and another while the enemy troops were rallying the guards looked to were the shots had come from and saw a giant elf with a younger elf on her shoulder, Rita knew exactly who the elf was but didn't waste time watching and got the troops to open fire. Since the enemy troops were so baffled by what had happened they were unprepared for the mass of arrows and rocks flying down on them and the few that survived retreated to the hill. As the enemy general saw this massacre he saw were the arrows came from and decided it was time to send in there own giants one died on the spot dew to scorpion fire but the other 2 charged at Cidny but Cidny was well prepared and defended her self with her sword at the last minute and summoned a flame in her hand and set the giant on fire and used her nature magic to trap the other one but not kill him. She saw the mages who had been forced to help the solemn army and quickly used her dimensional magic to create a portal under each mage and transport them into the city walls. She then released the last giant and he ran away as fast as he could into the forest.
After the battle Cidny went to a nearby tree to rest with the little elf girl. The guards went to the infarmery while Rita, Luke, the knight charles and king charles helped out the rest of the city resitance burn the dead bodys and scavenge for supplies in the siege towers.
