Okay, so Ash has met Professor Burnet and she and Professor Kakui are married. Now, let's get down to business. What caused Ash to turn into a 4 year old tot in Alola?

Did Ash personally want to become a tiny tot again?

Was it a new rule of the island Pokemon battles that if one loses they are regressed?

Did he encounter a Pokemon that caused this?

Did he find something while exploring that caused him to turn toddler?

Or was it some other reason other than these 4?
