Cameron stared at the yoga pants and oversized hoodie Amy had handed him. He hesitated for a moment, then sighed, realizing that sitting around in damp clothes was worse than wearing something out of his comfort zone.
"Alright, fine," he muttered, grabbing the clothes and heading to the bathroom to change.
As he slipped into the yoga pants, he immediately noticed how snug they felt around his legs. The stretchy fabric clung to his form, molding perfectly to his slender frame. He tugged at the waistband, frowning slightly at how they hugged his hips and thighs more than he was used to. The hoodie, at least, was a comfort—oversized, warm, and featuring a bold image of Sonic the Hedgehog dashing across the front. That, he could handle.
Taking a deep breath, Cameron stepped back into the living room, where Amy was waiting. The moment she laid eyes on him, her gaze flickered down briefly, then lingered before she quickly turned her attention back to the screen.
"What?" Cameron asked, shifting his weight.
"Nothing," Amy replied casually, adjusting her grip on the remote. She hadn’t expected the yoga pants to fit him that well, but it wasn’t something she was about to comment on. It was just an observation—nothing more.
Cameron flopped onto the couch beside her, tugging at the long sleeves of his hoodie. "Let’s just finish the movie."
Amy pressed play, settling in comfortably. She found herself occasionally glancing over as Cameron shifted, the way the fabric hugged his lower body catching her eye now and then. It was just something she hadn’t noticed before, and now that she had, it was hard to ignore. Still, it wasn’t worth mentioning, so she simply let it be.
By the time the credits rolled, Cameron stretched and let out a yawn. "Okay, that wasn’t so bad."
Amy nodded. "Yeah, good movie."
Cameron glanced at her, raising an eyebrow. "You okay? You’ve been quiet."
"Huh? Oh, yeah! Just tired," Amy said, nudging him with a smirk. "And I gotta say, Sonic suits you."
Cameron smirked down at the hoodie. "Yeah, at least this part is cool."
Amy chuckled. "Yep. Best part of the outfit."
And with that, she let the moment pass, deciding it wasn’t something that needed to be said aloud.
