Remy woke to the noise of somebody banging on his door and calling his name. He got out of his chair and shook off his sleepiness. He heard the name telling him that it is dinner time for the faculty staff.
“Alright I will meet you there “said Remy as he stretched body and went to pick up the plate empty plate to take it to the kitchen and put in the sink. He left his room and closed his door and made his way through the mansion to the kitchen and saw several of the field members and teachers there eating and chatting with each other.
“Remy so glad to join us. “said Beast as he carried a large plant filled with food and sat down next to Storm.
“So the Cajun finally got of his room and joined us. “said Wolverine as he just opened a bottle of beer and start to drink from it.
“Knock it off Wolverine help yourself we just got an assortment of take out. “said Rouge from her place as she was talking to Psylocke.
Remy saw one of the tables was filled with pizza, fried chicken, tacos, salads, and Chinese take out. He got a several slices of pizza, a few pieces of fried chicken and two tacos and fried rice and couple of egg rolls and orange chicken. He then went to sit down next to rouge. Some of the x men looked at his plate as it was filled past its brim.
“Are you sure you can eat all of that dude.” Said Iceman with a raised eyebrow.
“I think so. Beside I’m need to keep up a good around energy for me as I seemed to regain my future see ability through my cards and that I have been working on my energy charge power. I so far have found out that I can charge up a large tree in five seconds, but a large take ten seconds. I also can stop the energy and not make objects explode. “said Remy as he told his teammates of his discover about his powers and started eating.
“Interesting your powers seem to protect you from itself just like how the weather protects our friend storm from itself. I would like study this if you have free time. That way we can have some knowledge about how to help further master your abilities.” said Beast as he ate from his plate.
So Rouge how is your mental battle going?” asked Remy as he was a bit curiosity about his girlfriend. From what he understands Professor X, Jean Grey, Emma Frost, Psylocke, and M, and Sage went into rouge’s mind to help her fight the mental imprints of all the people rough touched in the past. Together rough found out that if she beat an imprint in mental combat then she will gain that imprint’s powers and knowledge and skills. That was several months ago and Rouge found out that the powers she gains are weaker and watered down from the original as the imprint is a small fraction of power.
“Oh good, so far all the mincer imprints joined me without a fight and I have trying to fight some of nastier imprints and I have noticed that with each imprint absorbed my will gets stronger and my mind feels clear and less voices in my head. The powers that I gained are starting to get a bit stronger after I start practice them in exercise. “said Rouge as she went into details about her fights and training. Some of the x men feel that she might be one of the powerhouses like Storm, Jean Grey, Iceman and Kid Omega.
Gambit sat there eating and listening to his girlfriend only for Professor Xavier to come with a mission. The professor explained that a splinter cell of the morlocks are attacking the several cities and that the rest of morlocks don’t have any knowledge and cut off all connection from these extremists. He calls from Jean Grey, Psylocke, Storm, Wolverine, M, Nightcrawler and Cyclopes to lead the team, while Emma Frost will provide psychic backup and rest of the x men to stay at the mansion should it be under attack and protect the students. The field members got up and ran to change into uniform and got to the Blackbird.
Gambit notice in all this excitement he finished his plate and saw Rouge helping to clean up the kitchen and putting away the leftovers. He got up and started to help her and clean the dining table.
“Thanks for the help sug. I hope these sewer mutants don’t attack the mansion. “said rouge as she prefers not to fight, but will fight to protect herself and the students.
“Don’t worry about it, we have a lot of combat trained and experience x men members and several veteran students who know how to fight. “said Gambit as he cleans the last clean and put it away.
“As a treat for helping me clean up the kitchen I will make you a small peach pie. Just give me an hour and go sit on the couch and watch some T.V. “said Rouge as she got the ingredients and shooed Remy out of the kitchen.
Remy sat on the couch and turned on the big T.V. and watch some action movie after a while he heard a voice and some footsteps coming towards him. He turned and saw it was…….
