Daphne was tied up to a lamppost with her hands and feet bound by rope and her mouth gagged. She was squirming around near an abandoned stand full of food. Velma's first thought was to leave Daphne and stuff herself but the better part of her decided to save her friend. She removed the gag in Daphne's mouth and she let out a gasp.
"Oh Velma, am I glad to see you. I've been stuck here for an hour with nothing to do but smell that disgusting, greasy food over there. Can you untie me so I don't have to inhale those fumes anymore?"
