Bob woke with a start. A vague memory of a shadow beyond the flames... Of calling out, to rescue him... or her... The outline was hard to define. The smoke whirling around him making it hard to breathe. Then the memory of him raising an arm, a gout of white smoke bursting forth and engulfing him. His last memory was of falling backwards, his focus on the lighting overhead, as his vision turned to grey and then faded to black.

It was an attack! he realised, as he struggled through his still addled brain. Not wanting to reveal that he was awake, and get a second dose of that drug, he looked around the surrounding room through eyes open little more than slits.
Pain speared through his forehead, and his arm came up to massage it away. Unfortunately, his control was as fuzzy as his brain felt. He ended up slapping his head. A soft groan of despair was his reply, as his fingers knotted in frustration in his hair... Taking a couple of deep breaths he tried to clear his head. Even that felt like an effort. Harder work than it should have been. His whole body felt off.
Rolling heavily onto his front. Bob groaned in pain, forcing himself through it. He worked himself up to his hands and knees. His chest ached with the effort. Dizziness threatened to send him crashing back down. Everything just felt wrong....
As a stray lock of hair fell across his face, he swiped it aside. Only vaguely registering its' colour. Again another deep breath refreshed him. At the same time bringing up questions too. Bob slumped back to kneel. Resting upright his heels sinking into his bum.
The next few breaths blew away the last cobwebs, as a rush of sensations started to fall into place.
He felt the heavy chest when he breathed, the soft rump cushioning against his heels, and the extra width to his hips. With a shock, his eyes shot wide... he surged to his feet.
He was Elastigirl.... Rather he was in Elastigirl's body.
