"Can anybody out there hear me!? We're in need of immediate assistance!?" A man yelled through the phone. "I repeat, we're in need of immediate assistance. The S.S RYU is sinking!"
The man screaming was none other than Ryuji Kazama, a local rich boy of Kayuko City... and also the mayors spoiled son. What was supposed to be a relaxing trip from the U.S to Japan had turned into a real nightmare when the ship made contact with a local mountainside.
Now the damn thing was sinking fast and the captain was the first to abandon ship, leaving him and any remaining passengers fighting for survival. All the life boats where gone, and the people left onboard were in a frenzy. He just so happened to be one of the only few to remember he had a cellphone on hand.
"Hello? This is Response & Rescue, how may we serve you today?" A female voice answered on the other end.
"Finally!" Ryuji whined. His tux was soaked and he was pretty sure his new Rolex was finished. He was 24 damn it, this kind of crap wasn't supposed to happen to him. "My names Ryuji Kazama, and the S.S RYU is sinking! Save me! Oh... and uh, everyone else!"
"Just hold a moment." The woman said calmly. "Now can you tell us your exact location at this time?"
"I'm in the bridge watching the fish go by! I'm freakin' trapped in here!" Ryuji yelled.
"Sir? I meant were out at sea are you located." The woman answered in her same neutral calm. Her voice was really starting to piss Ryuji off.
"THE AUSKA TRIANGLE!!!" Ryuji screamed.
"I see." The woman said unfazed. "Well sit tight we'll send someone right over. In the meantime would you like to answer our over the phone survey about--"
Ryuji hung up his phone. He hated surveys. "Bitch." he whispered.
