Oh no... You see the machine, or what's left of it at least. Your heart sank. The dial was completely busted, the pods were smashed. Who would do this? Why would they do this? Suddenly, reality starts to set in. You're stuck as your MOM. You didn't want to be stuck as your mom, you wanted to be a kid, you wanted to live your childhood. But then, the obvious set in. You could just make a new one! You were in your mother's body, but you still had your conscious and your smarts. One problem, you knew it would take a while. The machine itself took you about two weeks to build, then another week to program.
"Well, shit," you say as your mother. "I'll be stuck as Mom for, like, a month!" You feel some tears building up, but you effectively hold them back. You start to feel enraged, you had to figure out who did this!
"Someone's going to pay."
You notice that whoever broke the machine must have stepped in the fluid, because you see distinct footsteps on the ground leading out of the garage.
"Bingo," you whisper.
You start following the footsteps, one by one. You feel like Sherlock Holmes, you even start to picture yourself with the Holmes hat on! The footsteps gradually lead out of the garage, and to your own front door! You go inside and see someone holding a part of the machine in the living room. Who was it?
