Kelly decided that it was probably in her best interest to look into finding something that could help her. She was quite sure what though. She decided that she should talk about it with Doctor Chakwas.
Eventually, Kelly mustered up the courage to go and talk to Chakwas about her accident. When she entered into the medical lab, she saw Chakwas on a data pad at her desk.
"Ah, do come in Ms. Chambers. What can I do for you?" asked Chakwas in a very friendly tone.
"Thank you, Doctor. Umm... I've been having some issues lately."
"Well, can you be more specific about these issues?"
"Earlier today, I had a bit of an... Accident."
"What kind of accident?"
"I... Wet my... Pants..."
"Oh, I see now. Don't worry Ms. Chambers, this happens to almost everyone. You should not worry yourself too much."
"Thank you Doctor Chakwas, but I was also curious about something. Is there anything you could do for me? I get the feeling that this was not a one time thing."
"There is one thing, but you may not like it."
"What is it?"
Doctor Chakwas went over to the door and locked while also closing the window shades, to give them privacy. She then went over to a cabinet and unlocked it. She opened it and then kneeled down to get something. When she went to show Kelly, she knew immediately what it was. A diaper.
"I can tell from the look on your face that you are suprised. Well, unfortunately, this is the only option in terms of what I can do for you."
"I guess this will have to do then."
Kelly then got up and walked over to Chakwas and grabbed the diaper from her.
"Do you need any help with putting it on, Ms. Chambers?"
"No thank you. I think I can do it."
With that, Kelly walked into the back room to put on the diaper. Moments later, Kelly emerged from the back room and looked at doctor Chakwas.
"Well?"
"I can hardly even tell you are wearing a diaper."
"Well, that's good, at least."
"Here." said Chakwas handing Kelly a bag. "These are some spare diapers so that you don't have to come here every time you need a change."
"Thank you Doctor Chakwas."
Kelly then went back to her room to put her diapers away. That was when she realized that...
