Chapter #8
She’d fatten Miranda up! She can't be Julie...
by: Unknown
A devious smile sprouted on her lips, curling up into an almost Grinch-like smirk as she continued to stuff her face.
Yes, she'd fatten up the little nobody into a big balloon! No dress would fit her by the time she was done with her! As Veronica plotted just how she'd do this, a few bribes to some of her science-minded friends here, a play straight from Iago's rulebook as she'd endure herself as Miranda's friend, steadily plying her with treats and excuses to eat.
As schemes and plots filled her much like the bon-bons she was really enjoying, she recalled her teacher's own ballooning.
Back when she was a freshman, Sarah Walker was just starting out at Buttercombe. She had been skinny, nearly lithe even, aside from a bit of fat in her belly and face. But that all changed swiftly. Sarah was often seen in the cafeteria or with her sister Jennifer, gorging on the latest food or "nibbling" on her dear sister's latest culinary concoction, which was far from a nibble.
Ms. Walker had grown and grown until she was larger than two Falstaff's put together.
It amused a lot of the students to see her so out of shape as she went though some of Hamlet's monologues at the start of the semester to say nothing of how tired she got just by heaving her bulk up and down the stage during a rehearsal.
Maybe she could get Ms. Walker's aid too, all under the guise of helping Miranda of course. Maybe have Jennifer Walker make the meals for the production of Romeo and Juliet.
