Matilda was very glad when she woke up. It was very close, but she was able to get into the famous Buttercombe Academy, which she knew was a known for helping girls as they grew into the women they were destined to be. She couldn't wait to get on the city bus to reach her new school, so she had a quick breakfast and thanked her mother before getting on the bus for her new life at a all girls school.
After a few hours of waiting on the bus, Matilda finally arrived at the academy, where the tan girl found that the place was even more beautiful than she dreamed! She could see that the school was filled with beautiful flowers and banners to welcome new students, and the groups of new freshmen pouring in and the older students returning all looked amazing as well. She noticed that quite a few of the people coming in were quite big, but she didn't care as she went inside to get a start to her first year.
"Welcome to the Buttercome Academy for Growing Girls, what's your name?"
"My name is Matilda Torres, what's your name?"
"My name is Mia Underwood, and I'm just giving a helping hand to help welcome students into the school, Matilda. Well would you like a tour, or would you like to just go to your dorm? It's up to you, but I do recommend taking a tour first, so you can get to know the school better."
"No thanks, I'll just go to the dorm to set down my stuff, than maybe get something to eat, since I think it has been a few hours since I last ate."
"Well either way here's the key to your dorm. You should have a roommate, and I think you will do well with her."
"Thanks for the key. Now I should be heading for my dorm. Bye." Matilda found the woman Mia to be a very nice, albeit overweight girl, and continued thinking about how good the school year would be and how good her roommate could be as she head to her dorm.
