Before you can make out the source of the shadow looming above you, the surface you're on quickly lifts high into the air and flips. You fail to grab on before being flung to the floor. The impact with the floor knocks the wind out of you, but is far from fatal.
What worries you far more is what you see once you get up. A pair of soft, pale feet fill your vision, looming dangerously close. You quickly turn and make a break for it, only to be stopped by the crash of another foot stepping down right in front of you.
Lilly returns to her original position, wondering just where he might have dropped. Hanako gives Lilly a concerned look and steps closer to her. "I-is something wrong, Lilly?"
You hear another set of ear-shattering crashes behind you, and look back to see Hanako's headed right toward you! Before you can identify where her second foot is, its heel smacks into the carpet directly in front of you, her sole prepared to follow suit.
All you can see is the bottom of Hanako's bare foot, quickly lowering onto you. As the odor of a girl's foot after a long day of school hits you, you call out to the impossibly huge girl in a desperate attempt to avoid being squashed unknowingly.
"Hanako! Please don't crush me! STOP!!!"
Your fingers touch against her rough sole as Lilly begins to speak up.
"Umm, Hanako, I lost something on the ground."
"O-oh?" Hanako takes a step back and looks down
You breathe a sigh of relief and don't even move for a few moments.
"Yes. It's a..." Lilly pauses, starting to kneel down carefully. "...a piece of jewelry. It belonged to my grandmother and is quite fragile, so be careful."
Lilly to the rescue! You're gonna have to thank her later for her quick thinking. Hanako's going to watch her step now, and probably not stomp you into the carpet. She might even find you this way, which you might actually prefer over Lilly in this case, with her hands making sweeps of the carpet in front of her, which are gentle but look like they have the power to level a city.
"H-hey! I think I found it!" You look up to see Hanako's face looking right at you, quickly blocked out by her palm falling directly towards your position.
Considering the presumption of you being inanimate, you're not sure what to do. If you move, you might startle Hanako, and you're not sure how she'd react. Otherwise, you could keep yourself still and just let her pick you up, hoping that she isn't too rough with it. You shudder at thoughts of being accidentally crumpled between those dainty fingers.
Without another moment to spare, the shadow of Hanako's hand is hovering over you, her fingers ready to pluck you from the ground.
