Winged humanoids only a few inches in height with shiny skin of rubber. Their elastic bodies protect them from the rigors of life in miniature, where the threat of being crushed under foot, hoof or buttocks is a constant.
Pixies have massive appetites for their size and, despite appearing defenseless, when threatened they are quite capable of defending themselves, unhinging their flexible jaws and sucking down anything in the area, swelling themselves to match its opponent's size and generally sucking down their aggressor in the process. The aggressor becomes trapped inside the pixie, its strength added to its own until it deigns to release it.
Pixies seek to be on good terms with the humanoid races as creatures their size have many natural predators and settlements make safe havens. Pixies often act as messengers and couriers of small items in the human metropolises where the danger of wild animal attack is less. They still hate rats and cats with a passion however. Pixies are understandably concerned of being eaten because, although most animals are incapable of digesting them, it takes 7 years for them to pass through a digestive tract. This is not pleasant.
At a pinch, Pixies can be used by the larger races as effective albeit unwilling condoms. This is also not pleasant.
