Unicorns

A symbol of purity and innocence, the Unicorn is the embodiment of all that is good. Resembling a beautiful silver horse with a single horn, just to look upon the creature is said to grant good luck. All aspects of the beast - be that blood, flesh, hair, but especially the horn - carry legends of great healing properties, and make excellent alchemical agents. The creature is vanishingly rare around human settlements and may only be approached, let alone ridden, by virginal maidens.

Because of the great value of the creature, it is hunted by many, most effectively by the Sisters of the Silver Blood, a specialised squad of hard-as-nails, virgin huntresses.
