Chapter #9Lion Taming by: Unknown 'No, no, no...', Rainbow Dash thought as she perched on a cloud, 'I thought I was past this. I mean, Gilda ate her! She's going to... I shouldn't be...' Unfortunately, thoughts of the deed only kindled her inner fire. Effortlessly, her friend had swooped down, overpowering and devouring an innocent pony. Cheerilee would be broken down, absorbed, and forgotten by the griffon before the day would end. And if she so desired, Gilda could have easily duped and eaten Dash instead.
Rainbow struggled to make sense of it. Was it Gilda's demonstration of strength and dominance? A thrill from the fact that by all rights, the pegasus herself should be on the menu? Is it time to finally fess up to her old friend? What's that yellow thing waving in front of her?
"He-loooo! Ground control to Rainbow Dash!" During her introspective moment, Rainbow almost didn't notice Gilda right in front of her, waving her claw at her face. "You were out of it for quite a while there. Something up?" With a sigh, Rainbow tried to clear her thoughts. 'Just tell her how you feel, ignore that belly of hers, and- oh Celestia I can see it wriggling still.' She bit her lip as Gilda followed the mare's gaze down to her stuffed gut. The griffin's face soured, and Rainbow knew she had to do something before she was hit with an 'I see how it is' speech.
Fortunately, Rainbow Dash was a mare of action. Anything Gilda had to say was halted by a sudden hug. After a few moments in the embrace, Gilda slowly returned the favor, unsure about what was really going on in her friend's head. "Listen, Gilda, there's something I gotta confess to you..."
Breaking the embrace, Rainbow began whispering something to Gilda.
"...Seriously? You like this?" The griffin gave the most incredulous look within recorded history as she grabbed at her still-jiggling stomach. Rainbow slowly and shamefully nodded. Gilda thought on this for a moment. "All right. No one's around, how about you prove you mean it?" A chill shot down Dash's spine as her friend lowered herself onto the cloud, laying...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
