You decide the portrait is to….Interesting to not get, you feel strangely drawn to it. You grab it and take it to the man and his daughter that are running the garage sale and ask how much it is?
The man looks at it then at you and says “that is $30 young man.”
Seeing as you did want it you begin haggling it down.
It takes a little persuading but you are able to get the price down to the $20 your mom gave you to spend here.
Feeling content with your purchase you see your mom coming over to pay for her stuff and then the two of you begin walking back to the car. You look back and you see the man looking at you with a mixed look of relief and sorrow then he turns back to his daughter and continues talking to her.
In the car your mom looks at the picture and says “oh, what an interesting picture dear.” You say “ya I think I will see if there is any selling value in it. If not I am sure I can find some place on my wall for it.” She smiles and you go home.
At home you grab the picture and run it up to your room. Not feeling like looking in to how much the picture is worth right now you lean it against the wall.
Later that night when you are ready to go to sleep you look at the picture and thought you saw the eyes glowing dimly. But convinced yourself it was the moonlight reflecting off it the right way.
Choice one:
You wake up in an alternate Victorian era reality where male and female roles are switched. Ie: girls go out and work and males stay home and cook and clean. Only you are aware of the change.
Choice two:
the original choice of your family travel through time and take on the roles of the family without swapping bodies. You are all aware. This is why men are dressed as women in the photo.
