Ok, the obvious option here is the fat ghost food from "The Diet Situation"

Perhaps this story takes place in an alternate version of that episode, where Stockings gain is slow, realistic, and doesn't make her taller? Where over the course of several weeks, the food turns her obese?

OR, perhaps this takes place during and after the episode, where Stocking IS a giant, and the curse is permanent, forcing her to live the rest of her days as a 60 foot tall 50 thousand blob(although, the pound number could go up ;) )
