Aah, Saint Patrick's day. Christopher's favorite holiday. Even though this day mostly revolves around drinking beer and watching parades, there was another part he liked most of all: the bonny Irish ladies. He always did have a thing for redheads, and the Irish accent was a total turn-on.
It was an early Sunday morning when Christopher strolled into the back yard with a cup of tea, enjoying the new green slippers he got especially for the holiday. It was still a little cold outside, so he sipped his hot tea for a little warmth. Earlier something caught his attention from the kitchen window. A strange golden glow coming from a patch of clovers near the fence. The clover patch seemed new to Christopher, or at least he hadn't noticed it before, so he decided to check it out. Once he got closer he saw what caused the glowing. In the middle of the patch was a perfectly shaped, four-leafed green clover with a slight golden glow over it. As he picked it up he felt a slight tingling in his head and the glow disappeared.
Taking this as a particularly good omen for the day, he put the shamrock in his pocket and went back inside. He sat down at the kitchen table and turned on the small TV over the kitchen dresser. Finishing his tea,he zapped over to a channel covering the preparations for Saint Patrick's day, showing fragments of previous years and people speculating on this year's festival. He took out the four leaf clover for a closer look, but was distracted by the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs, it was....
