As you were waking up, you spotted the calender. You were a bit pleased and sad at the fact your eighteenth birthday was a few days ago.
"So, Max. you gonna wake up soon or do I have to pounce on you a few times?" Gatomon asked, as she walked into view.
"I'm waking up..." You groaned as you sat up.
Gatomon has been your friend since you were a kid. She seemed to be always looking out for you. While kinda protective, she also seemed to know when to back off. Everyday, you were thankful you were partners with a great digimon who was also your best friend.
Speaking of Digimon, 50 or so years ago, both the real world and the digiworld connected, but it was only less than two decades ago that the digiworld came into peace with Lilithmon's defeat. You had recently moved into one of the village in the Digi-world that allowed humans to live in. The one you lived in had a holy digimon base nearby. While some holy types distrusted humans, they were polite enough keep their opinion to themselves Heck, they even allowed virus and demon types to live in the village, as long as they obeyed the laws and rules.
"So what are you gonna do today?" Gatomon asked.
"Well, I'm gonna help organize the recently discovered Library near the Holy digimon base. supposedly, it might be the digimon version of the Library of Alexandria," You answered.
