The icy blue eyes of Korra gazed down at you intensely. One eyebrow was tilted quizzically, and her mouth was a straight line. You stood there, between her feet, unable to move.
"What in the world are you?" Korra reached down and grabbed you around the waist with her thumb and index finger. She brought you closer to her face and examined you. "You can't be a bug, you don't have enough legs, and you're too squishy." The second observation came after she gave you a squeeze with her fingers.
"OUCH! Stop that, it hurts!" You cried. Both of your arms tried to push Korra's thumb off of your waist, but had no luck even moving it an millimeter.
"You can talk?!" she whisper shouts, it takes a moment for the young avatar to get over the shock of something that was no bigger than her pinkie had talked to her. "If you can talk, tell me what you are."
Answering the question had been difficult. At first, you struggled to form the sentences in your head, how could you explain this to her without sounding crazy. Then, when you first tried to answer in your normal speaking voice, it was too soft for her to hear properly. She had only heard you before because you screamed it at the top of your lungs.
"I'm a human, like you!" you yelled to her, with the hope that it was loud enough for her to hear properly.
"I find that hard to believe," she responded, a skeptical look on her face, "if you're a human, why are you so tiny?"
"I don't know. I went to bed last night, and I woke up this morning in this place, and shrunk. Can you help me?"
