Even with her titanic size and a difference in species, you still recognized the look that crossed the hippo-titaness's face as she spotted you. Apparently, Bedroom Eyes were a constant among all females. Of course, having an anthropomorphic hippo the size of an office building make eyes at a tiny human like you wasn't exactly comforting, and you felt yourself shiver under her gaze.
You see her hand move towards you, and instincts kick in.
"STAY BACK GODDAMMIT!!" You yelp, and bolt away across the tiled floor. Behind you, you hear the thundering footsteps as the hippo-woman gives chase (though she was walking slowly rather than running). A giggle comes out of the sky, and you pour on more speed, looking behind you to keep from being snatched up--
--and run face-first into the smooth wooden leg of a chair.
Just as the stars clear from your vision, a gigantic, somewhat pudgy hand closes around you--somewhat gently, actually--and you find yourself once again looking into a huge pair of green eyes. Though this time, there was less seduction and more friendly playfulness. "You're a quick one, little guy! You alright?"
Was she...concerned for you? Maybe she wasn't so dangerous after all. Taking a breath to calm yourself, you nod and put on a smile. Your rotund captress cracks a grin of her own. "Wow, you had me going for a second there. When you ran into that chair, I thought you'd be hurt--you humans are really fragile, even as tiny as you are!"
You blink in surprise. "You...know I'm a human? And...what was with that look you gave me?"
The hippo-girl laughs, making her chest and belly jiggle. It's actually kind of cute. "Of course I know you're a human! What else would you be, sweetie? And as for that look....."
