Kovu woke up about midday, the sun was high in the sky and animals roamed the PrideLands. He yawned and stood up, he still had a small potbelly from his meal earlier, Kovu didn't mind, it in fact he was actually feeling hungry again.
He knew it was only midday but that didn't stop his rumbling belly, since there was no-one with him he would have to hunt on his own, that wasn't a problem he was a skilled hunter, so he decided to go to a zebra field.
Kovu eyed a large zebra, he knew that wold satisfy his hunger, he chased after it, his potbelly slowed him down a little but he was still fast enough to catch it, the zebra was on the ground in minutes.
Kovu ate the zebra, bite after bite, with every mouthful of meat he indulged more and more and his belly grew bigger.
Kovu amazingly managed to eat the entire zebra, he now had a large amount fat covering his body, his legs had thickened, his face looked more puffy and his belly hung down almost touching the ground, even his tail had thickend with fat. His newfound weight made walking more difficult, his legs brushed against each other causing him to waddle.
It was at that moment that Kiara came back to check on him, she was shocked at Kovu's size, she had to ask:
"What happend, are you alright?"
"Yeah i'm great, I love it here." Kovu replied
"I can see that," Kiara said, pointing at his oversized belly, "do you want to go back to Pride Rock?"
"Sure I need a rest anyway," Kovu replied waddling beside his friend.
They reach Pride Rock and Kovu lied down on his fat stomach and went to sleep in the den, Kiara lay beside her tubby friend as the sun descend over the horison.
