Lucas snuggled even deeper into the mountainous pillow in his sleep. Sighing contentedly with a belly full of beef. All the troubles ofthe world outside where once again back where they belong. Outside. No more of those pesky 'siblings' to bother him anymore. Nobody trying to 'rescue' him. Just...relax.
His eyes jolted open as he felt something land on his pillow.
He went to start yelping again for help. For somebody to save him. Only for something sweet smelling to be pushed up against his muzzle.
"Shhh shhhh Lucky. Go back to sleep."
'I'm...not...Lucky....' Was as much as his already softened brain could think before he fell back into the land of nod.
"Package is secure commander." A three legged dalmatian saluted.
"Good work cadet." A tiny dog with a big prescence marched up to the pillow, looking the unconcious Lucas/Lucky in his face with clear distain "Look at you. So full of promise and you let them do 'this' to you?Your a disgrace cadet. When we get back to homebase your gonna be running laps until you've worn a trench around the whole farm!"
"Sir. The enemy is within this room as well sir. It might be best not to raise our voices sir!" Spot said with her wing as he forehead.
"Ugh, very good cadet. Now lets get the package out of here. Secure the harness." He whisper yelled.
"Yes sir." The group said as one and began to secure their lost brother with the harne...secure him with the harne.....secure.....oh no."
"The harness doesn't fit sir!"
Pug whirled around "Whadda ya mean it doesn't fit? It's big enough to fit any of you cadets, isn't it? It fir cadet Rolly just fine"
"Sir!" Spot was in front of him "Package is much bigger than the limits of the harness, sir!"
"Lemme see that." He jumped back up on the pillow and sure enough, the straps of the thing they were gonna use to pull him out of enemy lines was far, far too small to fit around him. While Lucky was not the size of a full grown dog, he was bigger and heavier than his pudgy brother by a not small amount. The straps didn't dig into his flesh. They disappeared into it.
"Huh. This presents a problem." He looked up. and around. They'd initially thought they could just carry Lucky out one he was secured to one or two of them. He knew Lucky was fat now. He just didn't expect him to be 'this' fat.
They couldn't carry him out. He'd drag behind them and alert his captur's. The skylight maybe?
