Don't need no favours

You shake your head at him. "No worries, happy to help you out. Besides, as you might figure, I know my way around a foot." You grin, "mostly doding them of course." Luke laughs, "I can imagine. Just let me get some of that foot grime off of you." And suddenly he grabs you and rubs you off on his trousers on the inside of the thigh. Before putting you back. But closer to him than before. Know even if you look up at him you can't help but see his large leg looming to your left and his bulge right in front of you at the edge of your vision. You also notice that his smell is filling your nostrils. Strong, musky, with just a hint of spices and sandalwood. Probably a mix of his natural scent and the fabric softener they use at his house.

Luke has turned his attention back to the show and you see something funny/horrible happen to detective tiny. He's investigating a murder in a gym and he is caught on a treadmill being used by a giant. Running for his life. Rolling and dodging the stomping feet. Luke thinks it's amusing and he laughs shaking the entire couch. Make you tip over and roll to the back of the seat. Right under his bend leg. "Carefull." You scream and he turns to look at you. And he notices your predicament and has too laugh again as he picks you up. "Wow, real-life slapstick. And I thought that show was just fiction. Careful little friend. Here, let me get you a safe spot." He leans back in his seat, flattening his back to the couch and places you right in the middel of his stomach. You feel terrified. You were always thought not to get close to any giant except when you were carried. And sure Luke had grabbed you in the past. But actually being on his person without the comfort of being in his hand scares the hell out of you. You grab on tight to one of the folds in his shirt and tighten up. Luke who was distracted by the show takes a minute or two to notice. While you hold on for dear life as his stomach rises and falls with his breathing. "You okay?" He asks, when he finally looks at you. You try to say something, but at first nothing comes out but a squeak. But you catch your breath and finally say, "This is weird for me." Luke blinks. "Really, oh, sorry, I thought it was okay." He looks closer, "Dude, your shaking, what's wrong." He grabs you and sits up as you curl up into a ball in his hands. "You try to stop shaking, but it takes you a few breaths. And you suddenly realise you were hyperventilating from the moment Luke out you on his body. Now that you realise it. You can take a deep breath and the oxygen returns to your muscles and you relax. As you stretch you look up at Luke's face. He gives you a worried look. "Sorry, I'm okay now. I'm just not used to being around a giant." Luke blinks. "What do you mean, we hang out in our boat all the time." You give him a wry smile. "Yeah, but always at at least some distance. And even then you scare me." Luke gasps, "I scare you? How, what did I do." You shake your head. "It's not something you do really. It,s more the situation." And you try to explain from your perspective how it looks like when he is rowing and coming at you at great speed as he leans forward.

Luke can't seem to help himself. He laughs. "Wow, I never imagined. I guess it must look terrifying to you when I come at you looking all angry and sweaty. But you're part of the team, everyone thinks so, remember the group foto were we actually made you a platform so you could stand closer to the camera, so you would feel included." Now it's your turn to gasp. "That's what it was for? I thought it was like a joke, putting me on a pedestal like some mascot." Luke laughs. "Oh, now I get why you were so grumpy about it." You blush, "but most of the guys don't even talk to me, except for a 'great job little Cox'." Luke chuckles. "Well, most of them just don't want to scare you." He gives you a stern look, "besides you don't talk to most of us either. Always scurrying in at the last second and scurrying out as soon as we're done. You never hang out with us in the locker room for some after training talks, jokes and shenanigans." You realise he's right. You never thought of it, but you kept the whole team at a distance too. "I guess I never thought of it like that." Luke laughs. "We actually have a tall tales list of what you do when you scurry off. Because most of us like to know what you do when you're not in school or practice. Some of us think you are a secret agent, others think you are secretly detective tiny. Personally I think you have a normal hobby, like playing a tiny oboe." You chuckle, "violin actually." Luke laughs, "See, it's not that hard to share." You nod, "wow, I just thought you guys were just reluctantly accepting me. I mean most of you weren't happy when I joined." Luke nods. "We all realize that. But it's really hard to get close to you too. If it wasn't for the bus ride today, where you couldn't sneak off. We never would have talked about anything but rowing. And seeing you tremble like that from just being in physical contact with me... What happened to you to make you so scared." You shrug, "Giants in general terrify me. It's what we learned in school,
1. stay away and out of reach
2. always have an escape plan
3. don't get caught
The three Cardinal rules of being a tiny."
Luke blinks in surprise. "That's not what my step-brother is teaching at the tiny community center. He works with tinies that have paralyzing fears of giants. But I guess I understand now, why some tinies have that fear. Being taught some bullshit rules." Suddenly something clicks. "You're talking about Towering Tom, the BFG?" Luke nods, "you've seen him?" You nod, "Yeah, I went to one of his seminars for credit. But he's like.... Old. At least 30." Luke laughs, "Yeah he's ancient. My mom married his dad, they are almost 15 years apart. We have a house in the country, but I live with time in a little duplex in the city. He has a lot of tiny friends, that's why I am not always fully aware of the size differences, I guess. I shared meals with quite a few."

There is a knock at the door. "Time for dinner", you hear coach say before he moves on. Luke get up you still in his hand. "Want me to order you or us some roomservice?"

You have the following choices:

*Pen*
1. Ask to eat alone

*Pen*
2. Ask him to stay and have dinner together

3. Join him and the others for dinner.

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
