I'd like to thanks mess and other writers for developing this story and giving backgrounds and characters to write around. However, there are some background information which I can't find and inclusion of such information further down the storyline when there are about 5 or so chapters or having to waddle through words to find a piece of information is an inefficient task. Therefore I decide to include some information which have occurred time and time again in this story and some more extra information to shape the reality of the story's universe.
I do not attempt to codify nor put boundaries in this story and for the most part, this background information are mainly for myself (and for other writers who might want to add) for the story which I am submitting to this interactive. Doing so will be unfair to other writers who have established their own reality and makes my own life difficult if I have to look up every single detail just to write the chapters. It is intended only for guidance.
As I do not have editing capabilities, issues which I do not have answers to yet will be left undecided.
Location
In my stories, David's family (and everyone else) lives in a suburb called 'Edgefield', a suburb just outside 'Tyneside' city where Matt's family lives.
The highschool in Edgefield is Edgefield High (for lack of creativity on my part)
There's a few amenities located near Edgefield High (which is incidentally the busiest part of the suburbs, having a few offices as well), but most of the offices, amenities and public facilities are in Tyneside.
Residents of Edgefield mostly work in Tyneside and commute is a reasonable time away.
Edgefield is primarily split into two areas, the richer side with bigger houses and the side of those who can't afford/don't want to live in Tyneside.
Edgefield High
The high school has two cheerleading teams, one is the 'senior team' who sees most of the actions (currently consists of 8 seniors and 7 juniors) and a 'junior' team (consists of various seniors and juniors who doesn't make the cut and freshman and sophomores). School colours is purple and white.
There's a soccer/football team (depending on your geographical happening) which David is a part of.
Tyneside
Typical bustling city. Has a port and a small beach on one side.
Tyneside High (ditto) is in Tyneside.
Not as big as major cities, but busy enough with offices and industrial area.
