"We'll take a whole bunch of baseballs, tank jockey!" said Claire, shoving a handful of bills into her face.
"But.. why do you guys want to dunk June?" said Mimi. "You see her naked for free all the time!"
"That's true," said Alex. "And we were totally going to skip this loser pavilion and go straight to the flume ride to check out some wet t-shirts..."
"...but then we noticed this tasty little offer that we couldn't turn down," said Claire, flourishing a flyer under Mimi's nose.
Mimi read the flyer. It said "First Person to Get the Bimbo's Bottoms Off Wins a Date with the Bimbo!" She rolled her eyes.
"Guys, I'm telling you this because we're friends," she said. "The game is rigged. You can't get her bottoms off. They may looked like they're tied on with flimsy knots, but that's just an illusion to cheat the suckers who read this flyer. Both knots are secured with a healthy application of carnival-grade adhesive."
"Oh, silly us," said Alex. She picked up her first baseball and dunked it into a bucket that Mimi hadn't noticed until now. She then took the soaked baseball and took aim.
"Oh, please don't let my top come off!" June said, hamming it up for her friends. "I would just die of embarrassment!"
Alex's throw came nowhere near the target, splashing into the water tank itself. Claire took a second baseball and saturated it in the bucket. June raised an eyebrow at her.
"...What are you doing?" Mimi asked.
"This is a bucket of E-Z-Away," said Claire, tossing her baseball into the water tank. "They use it for three things: shriveling up piles of vomit, lubricating the roller coaster, and dissolving carnival-grade adhesive."
"A little bit of this, and the next dunk should strip away those pesky bottoms," said Alex.
"But... why? Why are you doing this?"
Alex and Claire grinned at her with identical wickedness.
"Because," said Claire, "one we get June naked and whisk her away on our awesome date..."
"...you'll have to take over in the Dunk A Bimbo booth!" said Alex.
Mimi's face went hot. "I will not!"
"You will, too!" said Claire. "You're the only other employee who fits June's bikini."
"At least, the only one who isn't either under eighteen or certified to run the cotton candy collider."
"So you'd better work on your schtick!"
"No, wait!" said Mimi.
After saturating the water a little more, Alex and Claire both took up one more baseball and aimed for the target.
"You wouldn't expose a girl in public, would you?" June cooed.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
