Out of the Wool and Into the Fire

You try to hide beneath Bailey's flesh and wool but it avails you not as Catherine has at this point already spotted you and her eye opens wide before she reaches down and plucks you out, causing Bailey to yell as the giant yellow-green gargoyle lifts you up into the air. Bailey turns her head and gasps as Catherine focuses on you and blinks.

She then gives a large grin that while not an evil looking grin, looks unsettling with her sharp teeth. It made her resemble a shark with lipstick. "Bailey," says Catherine. "I had no idea that you had company." Magnus climbs his wife's hair to get a good look at you. "Can't say we've seen him around the apartment before. His face doesn't look familiar." Catherine decides to closer examine you and even sniffs you, giving you a good look at her studded nose. "Wait," you think. "What am I worried about. She's a gargoyle. Gargoyles are harmless to humans." Then you remembered that in very rare occasions there were rouge gargoyles that could be dangerous to humans, but there's only a handful of those in the monster world. Bailey did mention that there would be consequences if Catherine found an unmarried human in the building who wasn't married within 90 days.

Catherine leans her enormous behind on the ground, sitting down without even actually sitting down. Her massive behind ripples as she taps it, thinking about what to do with you. "You don't seem to be from around here. In case you're unaware, we don't like unmarried men in this building. Unless you're dating one of the amazons in this building that is. FYI, if you intend to stay here, you have to marry one of the residences within a 90 day courting period of course. But seeing as you're in Bailey's apartment, I'd assume you're her boyfriend. Am I right?"

You begin to sweat as Bailey waves at you in a panic as Catherine looks down at you with her tail wagging. What do you say? Should you lie through your teeth or come clean that you showed up by accident. Catherine stops to pick her teeth with her claws and waits for your answer.
