“Hold on,” June said, “I’ll give you another key but I want something from you first…”
“What…?” Trish asked with a feeling of dread.
“You’ve been my favorite wrestler for years,” June told her, “I want some pictures with you.”
“Oh, that’s it? Of course,” Trish agreed as she sighed in relief. “Give me my key and I’ll run upstairs to get some clothes and then we can take as many pictures as you want.”
“Not so fast,” June replied, “I want my pictures first, then I’ll give you the new key. This is my chance to get some one-of-a-kind photos of my hero.”
“They won’t be originals for long if you make me stay like this,” Trish pointed out.
“How’d you end up like that anyway?” June inquired. While she’d originally seemed disinterested with Trish’s plights, as if it was common occurrence, now she was curious.
“Well… have you heard about AJ’s decision to contest the Women’s Title under the old Hardcore Title rules?”
“No, that must be really recent,” June noted, “Wait… AJ Styles or AJ Lee?”
“AJ Lee obviously,” Trish answered, “She’s the Raw General Manager. AJ Styles has never worked for the WWE.”
“Oh, sorry, I was confused for some reason,” June apologized.
“Anyway…” Trish continued, “I just finished showering after using the pool when Eve Torres jumped me in the locker room. Next thing I know, I’m in a title defense – butt naked! I still managed to beat her but my clothes ended up locked up in my locker during the fight. I couldn’t find a towel anywhere so all I have now is my title belt.”
“Oh my,” June gasped.
“Oh, I’m not done,” Trish informed her. “Eve stuck around and jumped me again when I’d finally decided to leave the locker room. She threw my Women’s Championship into the pool then stole my room key when I dove in to get it. She told me she’d give me my key back if I surrendered my title to her. Like that’s gonna happen.”
“Wow…” June remarked, “But now I definitely need my pictures first.”
“Wait… what?” Trish sputtered.
“You didn’t lose your key,” June reminded her, “You know exactly where it is. And it wasn’t exactly stolen if she’s given you a way to trade it to her. I could get in big trouble if I just start handing out extra keys all willy-nilly. You’ve gotta make this worth my while. But because you’re my favorite and I still feel bad for you, I’ll go easy on you. I’ll settle for just three pictures. But I get to pick all the poses. That’s the deal, take it or leave it.”
Trish stared at the girl then watched her eyes drift lower as she blatantly checked her out. Trish quickly hugged her arms around her chest for cover as she thought about her situation.
She could either humiliate herself for a fan’s enjoyment to get a new room key or - since she outright refused to give up her title – she could find Eve in the bar and take her original key back from her. Trish felt that she and Eve had a score to settle but would she stand a chance against her in her current state?
