Sonic finds somebody else before Tails gets to him

Sonic walked around in the forest, scared half to death. The little boy didn't know what to do. Tears started streaming from the hedgehog's eyes.

"Are you lost?" a voice called out.

Sonic cautiously turned around to see the source of the voice. It was the pink rosy rascal known as Amy. Sonic pounced on her.

"Amy!" He cried.

Amy was dumbfounded. How in the name of Mobious did the kid know her name? Then, as she looked closely at the hedgehog, it hit her. This was Sonic! She had no idea how he got small, but it didn't matter. All that mattered was calming the little hedgie down.

"There, there," Amy cooed to Sonic, "it's alright."

Sonic sniffled.

"Tails being mean to me. He said go find someone else to piss off."

"Well, he was probably tired. Let's get you home."

Tails ran towards the two of them. He began to slow to halt when he saw Sonic holding Amy.

"Oh, hey Tails. You look older and much more....handsome," Amy batted her eyelashes at Tails.

Tails didn't know how to respond. A part of him wanted to return the compliment, but that part wasn't fully developed yet. He shook his head and regained focus.

"Sonic, I'm sorry for snapping at you. I was just tired, that's all," Tails pleaded.

"I'll take Sonic back to your house," Amy stated.

"Why?"

"He's comfortable in my arms. Besides, you could probably use some help taking care of him.

"Oh, well, thanks," Tails smiled.
