"Sorry Betty...I'm uh...busy tonight."

Her face instantly became downtrodden at your words, her entire frame sagging.

"Oh...that's...that's okay then."

"I'll...catch you later, okay?" You give her a smile before heading out of the human-sized exit towards your car, tossing in your groceries and revving up the engine, only to drive away as quick as you could. Man, that was awkward. You didn't want to break the cowgirl's heart, but you really weren't interested in dating her.

You shrugged as you continued driving.

1. You gon on with your day just fine

2. Betty knows you lied, and she is MAD
