The tribute

Goodbye Earth. This was the second time this week I had to say that. The first time was when NASA detected an asteroid twice the suze of Mt. Everest on a collision course for Earth. No survivors was the projected outcome. Just as the world lost hope a strange feminine voice coming from space offered to save the Earth in exchange for one thing: Me. The United Nations immediately agreed on international television and less than 5 minutes later an angry mob and the national guard dragged me from my apartment. So much for being neighborly.........
