Fighting that rogue.

Ryan's POV

"You fought a rogue witch?" Surprised, Jenny asked.

"I had to do something!" Pouting, Matt protested. "Mom was losing!"

"How did you get thrown into the rip?" Curious, I asked.

Matt teared up again. "I opened it to to get get mom away from the rogue but she threw me in instead." Miserably, he replied. "Why did she do that?"

"Your mother likely threw you into the rip to keep you safe." Sighing, I said. Then, I thought, "Poor kid. He likely made his mother's situation worse by intervening."

"Ryan, this kid is going to need medical attention." Wincing, Jenny said.

I nodded. "Get him to the infirmary." Firmly but kindly, I said. "I'll inform Dean Elvira of our new visitor."

1. I talk to dean Elvira.

2. A battered woman appears in Jenny's path.
