Witnessing a crime

It is late at night when you wake up to a strange noise outside. You glance at your clock and curse when you see it is around 2 am. You decide to get up and see what the noise was, so you walk out to your living room to look out the window, not bothering to put on clothes first. You cannot see much of anything because of the darkness, so you decide the best way to figure out exactly what it was is to go outside. So you grab a flashlight and slip out into the warm darkness of the night. You head down towards your driveway to see around the side of your house and think about how nice of a night it was to be outside nude alone. You click on the flashlight and see nothing by your house or anywhere else, so you decide it must have been the wind. Then you decide to check out your car to make sure it was fine, so you walk down to it and start inspecting it carefully. Just then, you hear something behind you and as you turn, you see someone trying to steal...something. You can't tell in the dark, but you know they are, so you yell at them to leave. Caught in the beam of your flashlight is...
