"I... went goey?" Amanda says, a faraway tone to her voice. "What exactly do you mean?"
Nathan pauses for a moment.
"Uh.. well, you kind of... melted? Sort of poured all over me. It was really disturbing! And... oh god, incredibly tasty! I'm sorry, I'm really sorry! I just couldn't stop!"
Melted? She... melted? How, what?
In the tight confines of her hubby's stomach she squeezed a hand up infront of her face. In the dim light in here it was difficult to see, but she flexed fingers and they didn't feel wrong. She was all still here. Melted? Really? And then, as she focused on her hand, her fingers started to droop. Blinking she tensed, and they snapped back straight again.
"What?"
"Well, it was kind of... minty. You know how I feel about mint choc chip icecream, and you were a million times better!"
Amanda's eyes rose up, gazing up to where her stupid boyfriend's head must be.
"I wasn't talking about your culinary interest in me love. I just... I think I can melt my hand."
"Huh?"
Ignoring him you focus on your hand slowly, feeling what you felt before, and before your shocked gaze your hand really does melt, drips of flesh coming off to your horror, fingers puddling and dripping from your hand, which shortly after gushes down too, leaving a stump of flesh at your wrist. The whole thing had no pain for you whatsoever. Very disturbing though.
You try to bring it back, but something feels... resisting. Then you realize the puddle that used to be your hand is beneath you, trying to push up around your body, and... oh. Your hand just reformed behind your back! Uuuuh... OK, that's just wrong. You wriggle your fingers, and can feel them just fine, despite your hand currently not being attached to your body!
"This is getting weirder." You say.
"Weirder than me eating you?" Nathan says, his voice echoing around you.
