Standing next to the printer was Heather and she did not look pleased.
"When I call you Stanley I expect you to be here promptly. Not whenever you feel like it. Not 5 minutes later. Promptly. As in 30 seconds before you got your lazy ass here."
"Yes Ma'am. Sorry Ma'am."
She lets out an overly dramtic, frustrated sigh. "I just don't get the impression you actually want this job Stanley. You sure don't show much enthusiasm around here. Maybe it's time I just let you go." You knew she was going to go down this road. All you can do is deal with it and hope she doesn't give you something to do that isn't too awful.
"No, please Heather, I need this job."
"Well then, I have a task for you to prove that you want to be here. And I think it's right up your alley Stanley." She said as she walks past you.
You sigh quietly so she doesn't hear you. "What is it?" You suddenly feel her chubby hand on the back of your neck as she wraps a silk cord around it. Before you can react, she pushes you forward and grabs your ankles, lifting you up and curling you into a "U" shape until the tips of your toes touches the top of your head. She then ties the silk cord around your feet so you are now stuck in this do-nut shaped position.
"Congratulations Stanley. You are now the office seat cushion. The chairs around here are some uncomfortable, you will be doing a great service improving morale around here by making them comfortable again. Now do I want to sample you first, or hang you on a hook in the break room for someone else to try out?"
