“Guards who trespasses on my… Erik?!”, your queen reacted.
“Milady I have returned with great news.”, you explained to her the reports of your mission thus far.
“You recruited the giantess’, and some of the dryads. Most wonderful. My power has begun to be at its former glory.”
“The Coven is a matter I believe we should attend to next. We have strength in size and force but now we should go right to what we need most of all to prevail, magic. All I got from the Giantess Queen was that the Coven are physically located by a waterfall along the river. Does this mean anything?”
“I have spent a long time trying to learn where they’re located. And I have searched at that very spot myself. But nothing. If they aren’t able to be reached without their traditional method of contact, then I’m afraid all we can do is wait until they contact us. If I had more allies, then I could hail them the old fashioned way.”
“How many more?”
“If I had the tree-people swear loyalty then it would give me enough power. After your help with the dryads, relations are expected to be quite well.”
“Perhaps I’ll try and inspect their hideout first if possible.”, you suggested.
“It would be on the way to the elder dryad so I see no harm in making that stop along the way. Now, sir Erik, you have been most helpful.”
“Milady you honor me.”
“Oh now don’t be modest, relax, take off that armor, let your queen give you a reward for your loyalty.”
“Majesty you are much too kind.”, you were too weak after what you just went through to go a round with the forest queen. You would do anything to avoid a round for at least a week. Your entire private area felt sore from being with the giantess queen, which meant any sex for a while would be nothing but painful torture.
“Oh no dear, you aren’t worthy of bringing me to my bed. Only after we defeat the Witch Queen would I allow such an honor to be given to you.”
“Whew.”
“Today was a major victory. For now we must ready ourselves. We mustn’t let this momentum we’ve gathered stagger. Tomorrow I will send you to recruit the Plant life.”, the queen announced.
“Aren’t they loyal to you?”
“Not every one of them are willing to remain loyal. And even the ones who are, won’t forfeit their treasured fluids to me for a cause of any kind. Not unless I give them good reason to. In the past it was either because the forest was on the verge of destruction, or they owed a favor to me. Attempting to go to them without either of those reasons will strain relations with them.”
“We will have to wait and see your majesty.”
“Indeed. Meantime I have readied your quarters here. Enjoy your rest, you have earned it.”
Before going to bed you noticed a desk containing a pen and some writing paper. It hit you that your village back home must be worried sick. Especially your crush Molly. You decided to write to them to explain your situation.
“Dear Molly, I am happy to report my quest to defeat the Witch Queen has become quite fruitful. I have gathered allies within the forest far from our own. This forest is ruled by a Queen, who has befitted me a proper set of armor and weapons to face against all sorts of monsters. So far I have recruited a whole village of Dryads and the Queen of Giantess’. I will be headed to recruit the help of the Alurane population for their assistance tomorrow.
On a personal level, I hope this letter fills you with relief as this proves I still live. During my most trying point during my journey, when I was certain that my quest would be in vain I thought of you. I imagined how you would be saddened by best efforts being all for nothing. But I assure you that now I feel that things are looking up. In fact I dare say, the Forest Queen may allow me to hold a position of power, should we succeed.
I feel more commanding now, ever since I found her, I’ve felt like I’ve grown on confidence. Like now I can take anything, now that I have powerful allies. When I return home, I’ll make our home a landmark and make it better than it ever was.
And Molly, I miss you."
