This choice: She is attacked by the Spider • Go Back... The spider girl from earlier webbed the harpy to a tree dropping you into the water. You were at the bottom of the falls, so you weren't in immediate danger thankfully. But the spider went to try and collect you soon as you came up for air. She spewed web out of her mouth hitting your arm, you tugged at it real hard, suddenly the spider came right at you, but not of her own volition. You slammed into the monster girl knocking the wind out of her. You looked at your arm and noticed the water made the webbing rubbery and more solidified. You scrapped it off with ease and waled over to the monster girl holding your sword to her throat.
"I'm giving you one chance to surrender. If you do not relent I will be forced to kill you.", you said.
The spider girl snarled, "The forest queen will never return to power. We will take what she stole."
Her remark confused you for a moment which was enough to have one of her legs quickly wrap up your own legs. She had you tied up again but this time she had your face untouched by the her web. She barred her teeth at you threatening to do all manner of torture, "Normally I would fuck you to death or suck out the fluid in your body. But I think I will eat your head whole for all the trouble you caused me today!"
She was about to do that when the harpy from before clawed at the spider girl right in the face. Blood popped out of the beast's many eyes. When she turned you noticed most of them were clawed right out of her sockets, leaving only 3 eyes total left unharmed. It screamed in a ear piercing hiss in a blind vengeful rampage. The Harpy grabbed the spider and ascended high up, the spider girl was unable to do anything having its legs move erratically. With one good throw, the harpy dropped the spider girl into the water, effectively drowning it.
The harpy came down and used its talons to cut your free. "Thanks I am very grateful for you saving my life."
"You choosing to trust me saved mine. I would be happy to show my appreciation, and getting yours at the same time.", she said with sultry eyes.
"Eh? Perhaps another time. Right now the Coven is my top concern."
"Hmm. Maybe I will tag along until I can make time.", she cooed.
You looked flushed but at least felt grateful someone was helping you on such a tough journey. "Ok. So somewhere along these falls, is their hideout. But where?"
"Well it isn't down below. Many water based monsters tried that. The rocks are thick as metal, so no openings. To be frank nobody knows.", the harpy exclaimed.
"Yet they know its around here. So it has to be. Maybe up stream?"
"No. The only reason people know is because there is a ton of magic coming from this spot. It just leaves them to be the only ones who could live here."
You looked around, looking for a clue. You starred at the falls, but noticed an incongruety. The water coming down, wasn't leaving ripples outward the water. "Hold on. Look at the water."
"What about it?"
"The ripples are coming outward from the falls, its going inward! That's where they must be. Their entrance is through it."
"All be damned."
"If the water is laced with their magic, it would explain why the web was changed when that monster girl attacked me. Maybe I need to go straight through the falls or over-", suddenly the water blasted out and splashed down on top of you. For some reason you felt being sucked inside. When it ended, you were on the floor of a cavern. From what you gathered, it must be the entrance to the Coven.
You noticed the harpy wasn't with you. But you heard laughter deeper in the cave. In a second you found yourself bound by dirt and soil trapping you in a cocoon. You had your head free, and saw the dirt around you crawl forward along the path. All you could see going deeper in the cave was darkness. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
